Parlictionary v1.0

Explore a fan-made Parli dictionary featuring possible translations, pronunciations, and meanings based on in-game Paralives conversations.

If you've spent any time listening to Parafolks chatting in Paralives, you've probably wondered whether the words they use have actual meanings. Unlike some fictional game languages, Parli is intentionally a gibberish language and, as far as I know, there is currently no official Parli-to-English dictionary available.

Because of that, I decided to start building my own fan-made Parli dictionary by recording conversations between Parafolks and comparing the words used during specific social interactions. By observing the context of each conversation, I can make educated guesses about what certain words and phrases might mean.

Important Disclaimer

This dictionary is not official and should not be considered an accurate translation of Parli.

Everything listed here is based on my personal observations and interpretations of in-game conversations. Some meanings may be close to the developers' intent, while others may be completely incorrect. Some, I might even have misheard. The goal of this project is simply to have fun exploring the language and documenting recurring words and phrases used by Parafolks and maybe understand our Parafolks better.

As I collect more recordings and compare additional conversations, definitions may change, be refined, or be removed entirely.

Confidence Ratings

Each entry includes a confidence level based on how consistently the word appears in similar situations.

✅ High Confidence

The word appears repeatedly in the same context and its meaning is strongly supported by multiple conversations.

Examples:

• pipo = yes
• pito = no
• fineh = hello
• chechu = thank you

🤔 Probable

The meaning is supported by context but needs more examples to confirm.

Examples:

• mipeh = how are you?
• hopi = how are you feeling?
• tike = I like you / I like making friends

❓ Uncertain

The word has been observed, but there is not enough evidence yet to determine its meaning accurately.
